Our East Tour brings you to Andasibe National Park to see the biggest lemur the indri indri. After a hike in this park you visit the island of lemurs in Vakona reserve and the day after we drive to Manambato. The harbor to go to Palmarium, the nest of dream. This place is one of the lemurs refuges. After this visit we crusing the Pangalana channel and spend a night in Tamatave. Tomorrow we continue to Mahambo the harbours for the ferry to Sainte Marie island.

Antananarivo to Andasibe national park

The East Tour starts with a drive from Antananarivo to Andasibe NP. On the way you visit a reptiles farm of PERRIERAS to see the biggest gecko and cameleon.and after the visit we drive to Andasibe, It is possible to do a nocturnal visit with a local guide in Andasibe national park to see mouse lemurs, frogs and chameleons.

Visit of Analamaozatra/Perinet in Andasibe

In the morning you visit Andasibe national park with a local guide. Andasibe is home of indri indri, the biggest lemur. You can hear its specific sound from your hotel. Besides the indri indri it’s quite easy to see other animals, like :

• other kinds of lemurs,
• frogs,
• lizards,
• chameleons and lots of birds

In the park you can choose between 5 hours to 2 hours visit. but sometimes you have to climb through the trees to see the lemurs from a short distance. After lunch you drive to the Vakona reserve to visit the island o lemurs.

Visit of Mantadia in Andasibe

We have to drive 20Km to the north from the hotel, mantadia is more wild than Analamazaotra because it’s more distance from the village, you will spoting again another Species of lemurs, birds and reptile, then after visit we drive back to the hotel for lunch.and the afternoon free day.

Andasibe to Manambato palmarium

We leave the hotel after breakfast and we have around 4h driving to Manambato the harbor for. Our transfert to Palmarium the nest of dream, this harbour situated in the sacred lake Rasoabe. After 1h by boat we reach the lemurs refugies. This place you can observe very close the lemurs, sometimes they says hello to you in your door. One of the unforgetable place for your holiday. It's possible the nocturnal visit to see the Aye aye.

Visit of palmarium in Manambato

This day in the morning the local guide bring us to see the area and explain the reason of lemurs Refugies, and after our visit we going to see the fisher village near the Pangalana channel, and back to the hotel after.

Manambato to Tamatave

This morning after our breakfast we take the boat and cruising the Pangalana channel until Tamatave, this is around 5h by boat with the little break to visit the fisher village, and the afternoon we arrive in Tamatave.

Tamatave to Mahambo

In the morning you drive from Tamatave to reach the small village of Mahambo,from this village you will take the boat to Saint Marie island, and the tour has ends.
